Overview

The anti grass and sand removal water intake head refers to the serrated lateral flow inclined plate water intake head, and the J-shaped anti grass water intake head is a part of the former (serrated inlet device or serrated water intake head). This product was successfully developed by China Municipal Engineering Southwest Design Institute and Leshan Water Supply Company in 1984, and passed national appraisal in September of the same year. The appraisal believes that the design is novel, the method is correct, and the data is reliable, making it an advanced new type of water intake head both domestically and internationally.

The water intake head of the serrated lateral flow inclined plate is mainly composed of serrated and sand discharge buckets with lateral flow inclined plates. The former mainly achieves efficient weed prevention by opening holes in the back and creating motion "dead points"; The latter can automatically form a "suspended sand layer" to prevent or greatly reduce water flow interference, and cleverly utilize the natural energy of river water flow to achieve efficient automatic sand removal.
