Purpose and scope of application:
The spiral sand water separator is used in the sedimentation tank of sewage treatment plants to separate the sand water mixture discharged from the sedimentation tank.
Structural work engineering:
The spiral type consists of a shaftless spiral, a lining strip, a U-shaped groove, a water tank, a guide plate, an outlet weir, and a driving device.
Sand water mixture from one end of the separator; At the top of the input water tank, heavy components such as sand particles in the mixed liquid will deposit at the bottom of the tank. Under the push of the spiral, the sand particles will rise along the inclined bottom of the tank and continue to move a certain distance away from the liquid surface. After the sand particles are fully dehydrated, they will be discharged into the sand bucket through the sand discharge port, and the water separated from the sand and water will be discharged from the overflow port and sent to the inlet water tank in the factory.

1. The sedimentation device and sand conveying device of the sand water separator are enclosed integrated structures, and have the characteristics of compact structure, light weight, high work reliability, and low maintenance workload.
2. The separation efficiency of the sand water separator can reach 96% -98%, and particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 0.2mm can be separated with a recovery rate of not less than 98%. The removal rate of sand and gravel with a diameter greater than 0.1mm is not less than 80%.
3. Under normal circumstances, the sand water separator matches the performance of the sand pump between the pump type sand settling device and the sand storage room. When necessary, it can also run continuously.
4. The shell, bracket, sand feeder and other important components of the sand water separator are made of stainless steel.

Installation and operation:
1. The sand water separator is balanced and placed on the working platform. The bottom must be fixed with expansion bolts to the ground without obvious vibration before it can operate. At the same time, the hopper should be coordinated with other equipment.
2. When using the sand water separator, the reducer must first be filled with mechanical oil to the oil level of 1/2 (see the reducer manual for details).
3. Connect the power, press the button, and observe if the screw rotates in the correct direction. The screw always rotates in the direction of the material outlet.
4. After starting, the staff should pay attention to whether there are hard debris in the materials. Once any abnormal situation is found in the conveyor, it should be stopped immediately to troubleshoot before resuming operation. When the sand water separator is in operation, the protective cover must not be removed.
5. If there is a break of more than 24 hours during the operation of the sand water separator, an operator must be present to observe when resuming work.
Working Principle:
