ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2 belongs to high alloy austenitic heat-resistant cast steel, and its composition design reflects the balance art of high-temperature alloys:
25% chromium (Cr): forms a dense Cr ₂ O ∝ oxide film, with an oxidation resistance temperature of 1150 ℃, and resists high-temperature oxidation and corrosion.
20% nickel (Ni): stabilizes the austenitic matrix, enhances high-temperature strength and resistance to carburization, and ensures the structural stability of the material at high temperatures.
0.4% carbon (C): forms a carbide strengthening phase with chromium, balancing casting fluidity and strength, and improving the wear resistance of the material.
2% silicon (Si): enhances high-temperature strength and creep resistance, refines grain size, and improves material toughness.
Performance data:
The persistent strength reaches 45MPa (1000 hours) at 950 ℃.
Excellent thermal fatigue resistance, maintaining 85% of initial strength even after 1000 cycles of cold and hot cycles.
At a high temperature of 1100 ℃, the strength attenuation rate is less than 15%, and the high-temperature yield strength remains at 85% of the room temperature value.
