The Aurora 1000 turbidity meter uses the geometric principle of standard integration to detect the light scattering attenuation coefficient (σ sp), which is used for visibility measurement and particulate matter monitoring. User friendly style, easy to use and maintain, and reduced costs.
Aurora 1000 is a "new generation" single wavelength turbidity meter developed from M9003, with three wavelengths to choose from:

*450nm (blue), used for measuring fine and extremely fine particles (wood combustion, car exhaust);

*525nm (green), used for visibility measurement;

*635nm (red), used for measuring large particles (such as pollen, sea salt)

Ecotech's innovative LED light source design (US Patent No. 7671988) has a lifespan of up to 5 years, making Aurora 1000 more reliable and stable in measuring local atmospheric visibility.
The microprocessor controlled Aurora 1000 provides flexible menu driven programming, which can be operated through the front panel display buttons or an external PC.
