Instrument Introduction:
The highly sensitive integral Aurora series aerosol turbidity meter developed by Ecotech is a widely used and cost-effective product in the market. It is suitable for long-term observation of atmospheric aerosol scattering coefficients and is an effective instrument for monitoring climate, dust, ash, and air quality.
The Aurora 4000 turbidity meter is a commercially available multi angle three wavelength turbidity meter. Unlike ordinary integral turbidity meters, it measures the standard particle scattering coefficient of aerosols online. The Aurora 4000 turbidity meter has up to 18 angle zones in the range of 10-170 °, which can be better used for studying backscattering and forward scattering, and for deeper measurement of the light scattering characteristics of particles.
The Aurora 4000 model has a unique multi angle measurement function that can accurately measure the impact characteristics of particulate matter on atmospheric radiation balance, meeting the data needs of climate change research excellently; In general air quality research, such as comparing pollution sources, measurement data can provide real-time information on the optical properties of particulate matter, and more accurately correct truncation errors in integration angles and non ideal light source errors.
Aurora 4000 is a three wavelength turbidity meter with measurement wavelengths of 525nm, 450nm, and 635nm, and a measurement scattering angle range of 9-170 °.
