B、 Structural Description

The flow limiting valve is composed of stainless steel gate plate, box body, float, transmission shaft, seal, bearing, buoyancy rod and other components.

C、 working principle

The working principle of the flow limiting valve is: when the liquid level is low, the flow limiting valve is in the open state. As the liquid level increases, the float rises along the arc due to buoyancy, and the gate is driven by the transmission shaft to descend along the solitary line, achieving the function of flow limiting; As the liquid level decreases, the float is subjected to gravity and descends along an arc. The gate is driven up along the arc by the transmission shaft to open the flow limiting valve.

D、 Technical Requirements

  1.Automatic flow limiting valve (stainless steel float valve)During the operation of the flow limiting valve, the moving parts such as the float, valve plate, and transmission mechanism operate flexibly, smoothly, without any jamming, collision, or abnormal noise, and the whole machine runs smoothly and reliably.

2. The transmission mechanism has sufficient strength, stiffness, and stability.

3. The limited pressure resistance of the flow limiting valve is insufficient to meet the external requirements of the user's operating conditions1.2 times the water level.

Under normal circumstances, the average operating time of the flow limiting valve should not be less than 2000 hours, and the normal working life should not be less than 10 years.

5. Conduct pressure test on the float: After applying a pressure of 0.2Mpa to the float, there should be no bubbles on the surface after applying soapy water for 5 minutes.

The operating noise of the current limiting valve shall not exceed 70dB (A).

F、 Factory Inspection

1. The appearance inspection requires flatness and smoothness, without defects such as cracks, pores, slag inclusions, etc;

2. Structural dimension inspection, based on production drawings; 3. The moving parts such as the valve cylinder, valve plate, and transmission mechanism should operate flexibly and smoothly, and the overall operation of the machine should be stable and reliable;

4. Float pressure test, no leakage phenomenon;

5. When the fluid flow rate changes, it is required to maintain a constant outlet flow rate;

G、 Debugging and test drive:

1. Attention should be paid to the upper and lower limit positions of the valve plate when opening and closing the valve;

2. The float valve operates flexibly without any jamming phenomenon;

H、 Notes:

1. Attention should be paid to the upper and lower limit positions of the valve plate when opening and closing the valve;

2. If there is any abnormality during the opening and closing process of the valve, it should be immediately stopped from use and checked and dealt with in a timely manner;

3. Improve water quality before diverting drainage;

4. Installed after diversion and before water quality treatment (such as in front of the grille);

5. Some water quality needs to be treated (such as surface water being treated first before entering the main pipeline).
