Fluorine lined globe valves belong to forced sealing valves, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the frictional force between the valve stem and the packing, as well as the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force required to close the valve is greater than the force required to open it, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger, otherwise the valve stem bending fault may occur. After the appearance of self sealing valves, the flow of the medium in the shut-off valve is changed to enter the valve chamber from above the valve disc. At this time, under the pressure of the medium, the force to close the valve is small, while the force to open the valve is large, and the diameter of the valve stem can be correspondingly reduced. Meanwhile, under the influence of the medium, this type of valve is also relatively tight. Applicable media: water-resistant, concentrated alkali, non oxidizing acids, chain hydrocarbons, oil, ozone, etc.

Precautions
The installation and maintenance of fluorine lined globe valves should pay attention to the following matters:
The shut-off valve operated by handwheel and handle can be installed at any position in the pipeline.
Handwheels, handles, and dynamic mechanisms are not allowed for lifting purposes.
The flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the arrow direction shown on the valve body.
