3、 Working principle

1. Daily voltage stabilization mode (99% of the time)

  • The stabilizing pump unit operates periodically to maintain the pipeline pressure at the set value

  • The pressure tank stores approximately 500L of emergency water, which can be replenished in case of minor system leakage to reduce the frequency of pump start-up

  • The water tank is automatically replenished with water through a float valve to maintain the water level within the normal range (60% -90% volume)

2. Fire pressurization mode (key response)

Fire occurs → Fire hydrant/sprinkler outlet → Pipe network pressure drops →
  1. The pressure sensor detects that the pressure is below the start-up threshold (such as 0.7MPa)

  2. The PLC controller immediately starts one fire hydrant main pump/sprinkler main pump

  3. If the pressure continues to decrease, the backup pump (multiple pumps in parallel) will be automatically started to provide the design flow rate and pressure

  4. Continuous water supply from the water tank, real-time monitoring of water level, and pump shutdown protection in case of low water level

  5. The system remains running until the fire signal is released or manually reset

3. Fault emergency mode

  • When a single pump fails, the system automatically switches to the backup pump and alarms

  • Overpressure protection: When the pressure in the pipeline exceeds 1.15 times the design value, the safety valve automatically opens to release pressure

  • Power failure: Dual power automatic switching, or EPS emergency power supply maintains control system operation for ≥ 30 minutes

4、 Customization process and key points

1. Requirement communication and scheme design

  • Provide parameters such as building type, height, and fire protection system type

  • The manufacturer conducts hydraulic calculations to determine the parameters of the pump set and the size of the water tank

  • Provide a detailed design plan (including floor plan, section plan, and system diagram)
