High pressure raw water enters the tapered section of the injector through the pipeline valve, converting the static pressure head into kinetic energy, and becoming a high-speed jet at the nozzle, creating a micro vacuum state in the mixing chamber. The high concentration regenerated liquid is sucked into the mixing chamber, and the pressure and velocity of the regenerated liquid are changed; In the mixing section, water and solution are thoroughly mixed, and then flow through the diffusion section to reduce the flow rate of the regeneration liquid and increase the static pressure head. The dilute regeneration liquid is then sent to the exchanger body through the outlet pipe and valve.

Medium characteristics: Clearly define the type, concentration, and temperature of acid and alkali transported, and select the appropriate type of FRP resin accordingly.

Flow requirements: including high-pressure raw water flow rate (which determines the injection power and usually needs to be matched with the dilute liquid flow rate at the outlet) and dilute liquid outlet flow rate (determined according to the regeneration requirements of downstream equipment such as ion exchangers, for example, with a 1500mm diameter exchanger injector, the outlet flow rate needs to reach 7.1-11.1m ³/h).

Pressure conditions: Design high-pressure raw water inlet pressure and outlet dilute liquid pressure

The structure of FRP acid-base injector consists of four parts: nozzle, suction chamber, mixing chamber, and diffusion section. The design of each part needs to be coordinated and matched to ensure that the fluid motion meets the design expectations.

1. Nozzle design:

Structural form: Adopting a tapered circular nozzle (with a circular outlet cross-section), the inner wall should be smooth (roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m) to avoid fluid turbulence loss; The nozzle material can be selected from FRP or silicon carbide.

2. Inhalation chamber design:

Structural form of acid-base injector: adopting an annular suction chamber, the suction channel should be short and straight (length ≤ 100mm) to avoid vacuum loss caused by bends; The diameter of the inhalation interface should match the flow rate of the concentrated liquid (usually 1-1.5m/s), for example, the D2 specification (25mm, 40mm) in the WGP series corresponds to the diameter of the inhalation interface.

3. Mixing Room Design:

Structural form: A cylindrical mixing chamber is adopted, with a straight inner wall and a length usually 5-8 times the diameter of the mixing chamber (such as a mixing chamber diameter of 50mm and a length of 250-400mm), ensuring that the fluid has time to mix.

4. Diffusion section design:

Structural form: Adopting a gradually expanding diffusion section (cone angle usually 8 ° -12 °), a cone angle that is too large can easily generate vortices, while a cone angle that is too small can result in low diffusion efficiency; The outlet of the diffusion section should be smoothly connected to the downstream pipeline to avoid pressure loss caused by sudden diameter changes.
