Activated carbon adsorption devices are widely used in the treatment of organic waste gas in industries such as painting, printing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical engineering. The 1 # adsorption bed adsorbs most of the high concentration organic pollutants in the exhaust gas, with a relatively fast saturation rate. The 2 # adsorption bed adsorbs the low concentration residual organic matter that has not been treated, ensuring compliance with emission standards.

Structural design of organic waste gas purification adsorption bed for secondary activated carbon adsorption device:

Adsorption wind speed: The wind speed of the empty tower should be controlled at 0.3~0.8m/s. If the wind speed is too high, the contact time between the exhaust gas and activated carbon will be insufficient, and the adsorption efficiency will decrease; Low wind speed will increase equipment volume and cost.

Activated carbon filling height: The filling height of bed 1 is 800-1200mm, and the filling height of bed 2 is 600-1000mm; the two-stage adsorption bed needs to be designed separately for easy regeneration or carbon replacement.

Airflow distribution: An airflow distribution plate is installed at the inlet of the adsorption bed to ensure that the exhaust gas passes evenly through the activated carbon layer and avoid the phenomenon of "short circuit" (local airflow is too fast and not fully adsorbed).

Other designs: The adsorption process of activated carbon will release a small amount of heat, and temperature monitoring needs to be set up; Explosion vent, etc.

Layout of activated carbon adsorption device: The adsorption device should be installed outdoors or in a well ventilated area of the factory building, and flexible joints should be installed in the connecting pipes with the fan to reduce the impact of vibration.

Sealing treatment: The adsorption bed body and flange connection should be tightly sealed to avoid exhaust gas leakage; The maintenance door needs to be equipped with sealing strips to prevent air short circuits from entering.

Pipeline design: The wind speed of the exhaust gas pipeline is controlled at 8-12m/s to avoid dust accumulation inside the pipeline; The pipeline needs to have a slope and a drainage valve installed at the low point to prevent the accumulation of condensed water.
