Introduction

Power station check valve: Check valve, also known as one-way valve or check valve, is used to prevent the backflow of medium in the pipeline. It also belongs to the category of check valves.

A valve that opens or closes by the flow and force of the medium to prevent reverse flow of the medium is called a check valve. Check valves belong to the category of automatic valves and are mainly used in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction. They only allow the medium to flow in one direction to prevent accidents.

1. Do not let the check valve bear weight in the pipeline. Large check valves should be independently supported to prevent them from being affected by the pressure generated by the piping system.

2. During installation, pay attention to the direction of medium flow, which should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body.

3. Lift type vertical flap check valves should be installed on vertical pipelines.

4. Lift type horizontal disc check valves should be installed on horizontal pipelines.

Power station check valve is a valve that can automatically prevent fluid backflow. The valve disc of the check valve opens under the action of fluid pressure, and fluid flows from the inlet side to the outlet side. When the pressure on the inlet side is lower than that on the outlet side, the valve disc automatically closes under the action of factors such as fluid pressure difference and its own gravity to prevent fluid backflow.

Check valves are generally divided into several types such as lift type, swing type, butterfly type, and diaphragm type.

The structure of a lift check valve is generally similar to that of a globe valve. Its valve disc moves up and down along a line in the channel, which is reliable in action, but has high fluid resistance and is suitable for situations with light and small diameters. Lift check valves can be either straight through or vertical. Straight through lift check valves are generally only installed in horizontal pipelines, while vertical lift check valves are generally installed in vertical pipelines.

The valve disc of the swing check valve rotates around the axis of rotation. Its fluid resistance is generally lower than that of lift check valves, making it suitable for larger diameter applications. Swing check valves can be divided into three types based on the number of valve discs: single disc swing, double disc swing, and multi disc swing. Single disc swing check valves are generally suitable for medium caliber applications. When using single disc swing check valves for large-diameter pipelines, it is better to use slow closing check valves that can reduce water hammer pressure. Double flap swing check valve is suitable for large and medium diameter pipelines. The double disc swing check valve has a small structure and light weight, making it a rapidly developing check valve; Multi flap rotary check valve is suitable for large-diameter pipelines.
