1、 Product Introduction
High temperature self-priming pumps are suitable for the pumping, circulation, and discharge of all chemical solutions, wastewater, etc. containing acidic and alkaline corrosive components. They are widely used in industries such as electroplating, electronics, chemical engineering, leather, dyeing and finishing wastewater, and exhaust gas. The KB series has a flexible structure and is easy to disassemble and assemble, making it the most widely used acid and alkali resistant self-priming pump.

2、 Product Features
1. Unique shaft seal design - The interior adopts Teflon Bellow Seal self cooling design.
2. Self suction design - The self-priming force is particularly strong and can reach up to 6m, with a check valve design to prevent liquid backflow inside the pump.
3. Strong acid resistance, strong alkali resistance, and strong corrosion resistance. The materials include CFRPP, FRPP, CPVC, and PVDF (Teflon).
4. A bottom valve should be installed at the inlet to prevent foreign matter from being sucked in, and a check valve should be installed at the outlet to prevent instantaneous backflow during shutdown, which may cause damage to the pump body and pump idling.

4、 Product installation
When installing the pump, a sturdy horizontal surface should be chosen and kept stable. Install a fan at the pump inlet and outlet for easy maintenance.
2. Try to avoid installing the machine outdoors as much as possible. If it must be installed outdoors, it should be covered with a protective cover. If the pump is equipped with an electronic controller, it must be protected.
3. Pumps made of PVC material should avoid direct exposure to sunlight to prevent material brittleness.
Before piping, the chemical liquid used, temperature conditions, and delivery head should be considered first, and different pipe materials should be selected to meet the actual requirements. For example, if the temperature is above 60 ℃, PP pipe fittings should be selected for installation.
When piping, attention should be paid to leaving no impurities or debris inside the pipe, and if necessary, the pipe should be cleaned with clean water.
6. The flange joint should be lined with gaskets and locked to prevent air from being sucked into the pump.
When using metal materials for piping, shock-absorbing joints must be installed in the pump inlet and outlet pipelines to avoid flange breakage caused by vibration.
When the liquid transported by the pump exceeds a certain height, a check valve must be installed at the outlet to prevent pump damage caused by back pressure.
9. The safety discharge valve should be installed between the pump outlet and the first switch valve, and a pressure gauge should be installed as much as possible to monitor the pressure inside the pipe.
To prevent the pump from sucking in debris or siphoning, please install a foot valve (instead of a Ford valve).
11. Check valves should be installed near the pump inlet and outlet as much as possible, and T-joints should be used as much as possible when installing pressure gauges or safety discharge valves.
12. When piping, attention should be paid to not twisting the pipeline with force. After installation, check whether the pump has been twisted or deformed due to excessive force or incorrect installation.
After the machine is fixed, it should be confirmed whether it is secure and the motor fan should be rotated to confirm whether the motor can rotate freely.
Before connecting the power cord, it should be confirmed whether the power source used is compatible with the motor form, and the overcurrent protection switch should be connected.
15. When using hazardous chemical liquids, the pump should be covered with a protective cover just in case.
Before starting the pump motor, it is necessary to fill it with liquid, check if the inlet and outlet are open, and do not idle.
After installation, it is necessary to confirm whether the pipeline is secure again to avoid deformation or vibration damage caused by liquid temperature.
5、 Product maintenance
1. Before maintenance and repair, ensure that the power supply is turned off, drain the remaining liquid in the pump body, and close the inlet and outlet. Maintenance personnel should wear protective clothing, face shields, and safety shoes and socks.
2. Regularly check the entrance and exit to prevent foreign objects from blocking and causing the motor to run idle.
3. The connection between the motor and the pump must be accurately calibrated to ensure that they are in the same straight line.
4. The shaft seal cover is fixed on the rear cover, and when the rear cover is locked on the foot seat, it must be at the center of the shaft axis.
5. The fixing screw of the impeller should be tightened clockwise, and there must be a gap of about 1-1.5mm between the impeller and the middle cover. If the gap is too small, the impeller will wear out.
When locking the rear cover with the main body, pay attention to the correct position of the main body O-ring and do not crush it.
7. The inlet should be equipped with a special fan to prevent the liquid from flowing back instantly during shutdown, which may affect the self-priming ability.
