Industrial oily wastewater treatment equipmentIt refers to the treatment of industrial oily wastewater, which is a general term for wastewater containing various types of oil pollutants generated during industrial production processes. It is widely sourced from industries such as petrochemicals, mechanical processing, metal smelting, and food processing. If this type of sewage is directly discharged, it will not only cause eutrophication of water bodies and disrupt ecological balance, but may also pose a threat to human health through the food chain. With the increasingly strict environmental regulations and the increasing demand for water resource recycling, efficient treatment of industrial oily wastewater has become an important issue for sustainable industrial development.
Characteristics and classification of oily wastewater
The oil pollutants in industrial oily wastewater mainly exist in four forms: floating oil, dispersed oil, emulsified oil, and dissolved oil. Floating oil has a low density and usually floats on the water surface, which can be separated by physical methods; Dispersed oil is suspended in water as tiny oil droplets and needs to be removed by demulsification or filtration; Emulsion oil forms stable lotion due to the action of surfactant, which is difficult to be treated; Dissolving oil in water in a molecular state requires advanced treatment techniques such as adsorption or biodegradation. There are significant differences in the composition of oily wastewater in different industries. For example, oil extraction wastewater contains crude oil and salts, while mechanical processing wastewater is mixed with cutting fluid and metal impurities. This requires targeted design of treatment processes based on water quality characteristics.

The current industrial oily wastewater treatment has formed a three-level process system of 'pretreatment main treatment deep treatment'. In the preprocessing stage, floating oil and large particle impurities are removed through facilities such as oil separators and grilles. Among them, the laminar oil separator can effectively separate oil droplets with a particle size greater than 100 μ m, with a removal efficiency of over 80%. The main processing stage focuses on emulsified oil and dispersed oil, and commonly used techniques include chemical demulsification, air flotation, and membrane separation technology. Chemical demulsification destroys the stability of lotion by adding polyaluminum chloride (PAC), polyacrylamide (PAM) and other agents. The air flotation method uses tiny bubbles to absorb oil drops to achieve solid-liquid separation, while ultrafiltration membrane technology can intercept pollutants with particle size of 0.1-1 μ m, and the oil removal rate can reach 99%. The deep treatment process mainly adopts biological treatment and advanced oxidation technology. Activated sludge method and biofilm method can degrade dissolved organic matter in water, while ozone oxidation and Fenton reagent can oxidize and decompose difficult to degrade pollutants, ensuring that effluent COD, ammonia nitrogen and other indicators meet the standards.
