Core processing technology of equipment
The wastewater from gravure printing has the characteristics of high COD (chemical oxygen demand), high chromaticity, and high concentration of difficult to degrade organic matter. The treatment equipment usually adopts a combination process of "pretreatment+biochemical treatment+deep treatment". In the pretreatment stage, suspended particles and some colloidal substances are removed through grilles, regulating tanks, and air flotation devices. The air flotation process can effectively separate ink particles and oil pollutants from wastewater, reducing the subsequent treatment load. Biochemical treatment units often use a combination of UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Bed) and MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) technology. The anaerobic section decomposes large organic matter into small acid molecules, while the aerobic section further degrades pollutants through activated sludge. Membrane components achieve efficient separation of sludge and water, resulting in stable effluent quality. The deep processing stage uses processes such as activated carbon adsorption, ozone oxidation, or electrochemical oxidation to remove residual trace organic matter and chromaticity, ensuring that effluent COD, ammonia nitrogen, and other indicators meet the requirements of the "Printing Industry Water Pollutant Discharge Standards" (GB 41616-2022).

For the residual dichromate in gravure printing wastewater, the equipment controls the pH of the wastewater within a suitable range of 6-9 through a pH adjustment tank, and forms stable flocs with specialized flocculants such as polyaluminum ferric chloride; For benzene based compounds and ester solvents in ink, bio enhancement technology is used to inoculate a microbial community with strong degradation ability in the aeration tank to improve the removal efficiency of difficult to degrade organic compounds. In addition, the intelligent control system integrated into the equipment can monitor real-time parameters such as inlet water quality, aeration rate, sludge concentration, etc., and automatically adjust the dosage and process parameters through PLC to achieve a balance between stable operation and energy conservation and consumption reduction.
