1. Working principle:
Its core is to work by utilizing the changes in condensed water level. When condensed water enters the valve body, the float rises with the liquid level and drives the valve core away from the valve seat through the lever system, opening the valve to discharge the condensed water. After drainage, the liquid level drops, and the float ball also drops, causing the valve core to close and preventing steam from escaping. This process is continuous and automated.
2. Main applications:
Water collection points that require rapid drainage, such as steam main pipes, diversion cylinders, and gas storage tanks.
Large steam equipment such as heat exchangers, heating tanks, dryers, vulcanizers, and tank jackets.
A process step that requires rapid heating, maintaining stable temperature, and preventing water hammer.
3. Main structural features:

1. Installation precautions:
Correct selection:Select the appropriate model and diameter based on parameters such as the condensation water volume, working pressure difference (the difference between inlet pressure and back pressure), and working pressure of the equipment.The displacement should have a safety factor of 1.5-3 times.
Installation location:musthorizontal installationEnsure that condensate water flows smoothly into the drain valve in hot equipment or pipelines. The direction of the arrow on the valve body is consistent with the direction of the condensate flow.
Piping support:Proper support should be provided for the pipelines before and after the drain valve to avoid the valve body bearing the weight or stress of the pipeline.
Bypass pipeline:It is recommended to set up a bypass pipeline to quickly remove a large amount of air and condensate during startup, as well as facilitate online maintenance.

2. Operation and debugging:
Before startup:First, open the bypass valve to discharge a large amount of initial air and condensate from the system. Then slowly open the inlet valve and preheat the pipeline and equipment.
Normal operation:Close the bypass valve and put the drain valve into automatic operation. Rhythmic continuous drainage should be observed.
Inspection method:It can be determined whether the operation is normal by touching the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet pipelines of the drain valve, observing and inspecting the transparent mirror behind the valve, or using an ultrasonic detector.
3. Maintenance and upkeep:
Regular inspection:Check for steam leaks, abnormal noise, low drainage temperature, or failure to drain water.
Cleaning the filter:Regularly clean the upstream Y-shaped filter mesh.
Internal component replacement:If there is a leak or poor drainage, it may be due to wear of the valve core and seat or impurities getting stuck. It can be disassembled, cleaned or replaced with a complete set of internal modules (such as lever float ball group) after shutdown.
Antifreeze:When shutting down in a cold environment, it is necessary to drain the valve and pipeline to prevent freezing and cracking.
