Structural characteristics of NYP internal gear pump
(1) Working principle
The driving gear (outer rotor) with internal teeth drives the inner rotor to rotate in the same direction inside the fully enclosed pump body. The crescent plate on the pump body and front cover separates the suction and discharge ports. When rotating, negative pressure is formed at the suction port, and the liquid is sucked in. The rotor carries the liquid to the discharge port, and the pump body is discharged under pressure, completing the transportation of the liquid.
(2) Structure
The pump is mainly composed of inner and outer rotors, shaft, pump body, front cover, seal, bearings, etc. There are two forms of seals: mechanical seals and packing seals (for special requirements, magnetic drive and zero leakage structure can be selected). For media with high temperature, high viscosity, and strong corrosiveness, packing seals are selected.
When conveying materials that are prone to crystallization, insulation jackets can be designed on the front cover and pump body, which can be melted by steam insulation during operation. The pump can be equipped with a safety valve. When the pump or pipeline system is overpressure, the safety valve opens to form internal backflow, ensuring system safety.
The pump device consists of a pump, a motor, and a base. There are two types of transmission modes: bridge type and direct connection type.
When viewed from the motor end towards the pump, it rotates clockwise.
