1. Overview

PDX type quantitative disc feederIt is a continuous feeding volumetric feeding equipment installed at the discharge port of storage devices such as silos, silos, and hoppers. It relies on the gravity of the material and the forced action of the feeder working mechanism to discharge the material from the storage bin and feed it continuously and evenly into the next device. When it stops working, it can also serve as a storage lock and is one of the key equipment in the continuous production process.

The quantitative disc feeder has a more compact structure (especially with stronger adaptability), simple lubrication method, and easier maintenance. It has the following characteristics:

1The reducer and motor are installed under the panel, with a compact overall structure, reasonable layout, small space occupation, simple foundation, and regular arrangement.

2The reducer and the disc are relatively independent, so there is no need to empty the silo or remove the disc during maintenance, making maintenance convenient, simple, and short in cycle.

3Use short pipes that are not easily clogged or hung. The short tube adopts a snail shell structure, which enables the material to be unloaded smoothly.

4Adopting a novel adjustable material layer control gate, it is easy to set the size of the feeding amount, with convenient adjustment and a wide adjustment range. Moreover, the gate opening can be reset at any time according to process requirements. Equipped with an adjustable angle scraper device, it transfers the material to the next equipment and provides a certain guiding effect on the material.

5Adopting a large-diameter external tooth rotary bearing structure, it has strong bearing capacity and can withstand the pressure of ore tank materials for more than 15 meters for a long time. Its service life is more than 10 years, which is incomparable to other types of disc feeders. In addition, the slewing bearing has a large anti overturning torque, low resistance, and operates particularly smoothly. Especially under low-frequency full load conditions, it can start and run smoothly, accelerate smoothly, which is also something that other discs cannot achieve.

6High transmission reliability, long lifespan, and easy maintenance. Due to the use of hard tooth surface gear transmission, the transmission efficiency is particularly high, reaching over 95%. Compared to other types of disc feeders, especially the worm gear pair disc feeder (with an efficiency of only 60%), the energy-saving effect is better and the operation is more economical. The reducer adopts a spiral bevel gear helical gear reducer with the output shaft facing upwards. The driving motor adopts a variable frequency motor and is equipped with an independent cooling fan. It can also be equipped with a regular motor according to user needs.

7The transmission mechanism adopts a sealed structure, and the transmission components are well lubricated and sealed, with no foreign objects entering the lubricated parts, ensuring the operation of the equipment. The reducer adopts oil immersed lubrication, while the slewing bearings and small gears are lubricated with grease. The lubrication method is simple and easy to maintain.

8Adopting a fully enclosed structure, especially the sealing structure of our company's * is used under the disc, so that all materials fall from the discharge port without scattering around the disc and inside the feeder main body.

9A variable frequency stepless automatic speed regulation system that can be matched according to user needs, with a wide adjustment range, can fully adjust material flow, and meet ingredient requirements.

10According to user needs, a dust cover can be provided, which can also have a dust removal port. When connected to the dust collection pipeline on site, it can prevent dust from flying and ensure a clean and comfortable working environment.

11In the assembly of short tubes, discs, scrapers, and sector doors, wear-resistant lining plates with particularly good wear resistance are used at the parts in direct contact with the materials. A 0-20mm thick material lining (abrasive material) is designed on the disc lining plate, greatly extending the continuous normal service life of the disc feeder and reducing maintenance.

12The surface treatment technology used, all structural components undergo shot blasting treatment, and high-performance anti-corrosion coatings are applied to ensure the rust prevention ability of the machine.

13In terms of electrical control, the supporting frequency converter adopts magnetic flux vector control method, which has the characteristics of large driving torque, wide speed range, high control accuracy, and stable operation. Especially during low-speed operation, it can maintain a constant driving torque to ensure stable operation at low speeds, with a speed range of up to 1:10. Other components such as intermediate relays, contactors, and thermal protection devices are imported or Sino foreign joint venture products to ensure long-term stable operation of the entire system.

2. The main components of the disc feeder

The disc feeder mainly consists of short tubes, dust covers, discs, chassis, bases, body brackets, transmission components (including reducers, variable frequency motors, couplings, small gears, and slewing supports), short tubes, sector door assemblies (adjusting the size of the discharge port), scraper assemblies (unloading materials onto the next equipment), pipeline assemblies, cranes (used for lifting equipment), and other components.
