JA42Y static weight safety valve is an overpressure protection device designed based on the classical principle of gravity, specifically designed to prevent pressure equipment and containers from bursting due to internal pressure exceeding the limit. This valve uses a cast iron heavy hammer to directly provide sealing pressure, and its structure is extremely simple and reliable. When the system pressure exceeds the set value, the medium thrust will overcome the weight of the heavy hammer and lift the valve disc to achieve automatic pressure relief; After the pressure is restored, the valve disc automatically resets and seals under the action of the heavy hammer.

1. working principle

Static weight safety valves belong to forced sealing valves, and pressure must be applied to the valve disc when the valve is closed to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve chamber from below the valve disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the frictional force between the valve stem and packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force required to close the valve is greater than the force required to open it.
When the pressure inside the equipment is within a certain working pressure range, the force exerted by the internal medium on the valve disc is less than the force exerted by the loading mechanism on the valve. The difference between the two constitutes the sealing force between the valve disc and the valve seat, causing the valve disc to tightly press against the valve seat and preventing the medium of the equipment from being discharged. When the pressure inside the equipment exceeds the specified working pressure and reaches the opening pressure of the safety valve, the force of the internal medium acting on the valve disc is greater than the force exerted on it by the loading mechanism. Therefore, the valve disc leaves the valve seat, the safety valve opens, and the medium inside the equipment is discharged through the valve seat.
