The TE-6070 high flow particulate matter sampler produced by TISCH provides a very flexible sampling platform for collecting ambient air PM10, PM2.5, or TSP, offering multiple choices for different users. The instrument has two flow control options: mass flow control and volume flow control. Accessory Description:

Hi–Vol PM_2.5The air cutter is designed by TISCH company specifically for the TE-6000 series PM environmental atmospheric sampler₁₀One option for sampling installation. Place an adapter onto an existing deviceOn the partition layer of the TE-6001 series sampler with PM10 sampling head, the adapter is a new plate containing multiple impact nozzles, responsible for collecting aerosol particles larger than PM2.5 on the oil soaked collection surface. The PM2.5 aerosol particles are collected onto the filter membrane of the sampler through the impact nozzle.

Technical Description:

According to the EPA's 40CFM standard flow rate (1.13m3/min), ambient air enters the Hi Vol PM2.5 sampling head through a windproof hood, then flows into a static flow channel, and passes through a graded separation system that prevents insects and large particulate debris from entering. It then flows through 40 direct impact nozzles to reach a wet collection surface. Particles with a volume larger than PM2.5 are impacted onto an oil soaked porous disk (such as non PM2.5 aerosols), and particles with an aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 microns will settle onto the filter membrane of the sampler from the impact zone. The filter membrane is a standard 8-inch x 10 inch (203mmx254mm) high flow collector filter membrane.
