1、 Scope of application

It has the characteristics of small volume, low noise, no secondary pollution, no irritating gas overflow, and easy installation and maintenance. It is widely used by scientific research institutions, chemical laboratories in colleges and universities, petrochemical enterprises, and major quarantine and testing departments.

3、 Process Description

After being collected and homogenized by the water collection tank, the wastewater flows into the neutralization reaction tank and is simultaneously treatedoccupyThe water quality is neutralized by adding a quantitative acid (alkali) solution. The neutralized wastewater is pumped by a lift pump to a filtration tank for filtration. At the same time as the wastewater is pumped, a quantitative water purification agent solution is also pumped in to cause the pollutants in the wastewater to undergo flocculation reaction, thereby improving the filtration effect. The filtered clean water is sterilized by an ozone sterilizer and flows into a biological activated carbon tank to further intercept and adsorb fine pollutants. The treated clean water is directly discharged into the urban sewer network.

4、 Principle of ozone sterilization and disinfection

The molecular formula of ozone is O3. It is a sky blue odorous gas, with a dark black liquid and a blue black solid. Meanwhile, ozone is a strong oxidant, and the sterilization process belongs to biochemical oxidation reactions.

Ozone sterilization or antibacterial effect is usually a comprehensive result of physical, chemical, and biological aspects. Its mechanism of action can be summarized as follows: (1) it acts on the cell membrane, causing an increase in membrane permeability, the outflow of intracellular substances, and the loss of cell activity; (2) Deactivate enzymes necessary for cellular activity; (3) Disrupting the genetic material within cells or rendering it dysfunctional. Ozone kills viruses by directly destroying ribonucleic acid or deoxyribonucleic acid. The killing of bacteria and mold like microorganisms is first achieved by ozone acting on the cell membrane, causing damage to its composition, leading to metabolic disorders and inhibition of its growth. Ozone continues to penetrate and destroy lipoproteins and lipopolysaccharides inside the membrane, altering cell permeability and leading to cell lysis and death.

The ozone sterilization mechanism achieves sterilization by oxidizing and destroying the structure of microbial membranes. The inactivation reaction of bacteria by ozone is always very rapid. Unlike other fungicides, ozone can react with the lipid double bonds in the bacterial cell wall, penetrate the interior of the bacterial cell, act on proteins and lipopolysaccharides, change the permeability of the cell, and lead to bacterial death. Ozone also acts on nuclear substances inside cells, such as purines and pyrimidines in nucleic acids, which damage DNA. Ozone first acts on the cell membrane, causing damage to its constituent components and leading to metabolic disorders. Ozone continues to penetrate the membrane, destroying lipoproteins and lipopolysaccharides inside, altering cell permeability, and causing cell lysis and death. Ozone inactivation of viruses is believed to be achieved by directly destroying their ribonucleic acid RNA or deoxyribonucleic acid DNA material through oxidation.
