Yang type resin ion exchanger

Cation exchangers, also known as cation beds, can be classified into hydrogen type and sodium type based on the agents used for resin regeneration. The sodium type cation exchanger is called a softener or sodium ion exchanger. Ion exchangers are divided into types such as sodium ion exchangers, anion and cation beds, and mixed beds.

Pre treatment of cation and anion resins: After filling the cation and anion resins, soak them in a 10% sodium chloride (NaCl) solution and a 1% sodium hydroxide (Na (OH)) solution for 12-24 hours. The total amount of the solution is approximately equal to the volume of the anion and cation resins. Then rinse with water until the pH value is between 8-9.

The main purpose of cation exchanger is to produce purified water. 2. Desalination of seawater and brackish water. 3. Fluoride removal and wastewater treatment. 4. Desalination of water supply for power equipment.
