Principle of Glass Tempered Septic Tank for Domestic Sewage

After sewage enters the septic tank, it first undergoes preliminary sedimentation and anaerobic fermentation in one compartment, where solid impurities gradually settle and organic matter is decomposed by microorganisms; Then it sequentially enters the subsequent compartments, where it undergoes sedimentation, filtration, and anaerobic treatment to treat suspended solids in the wastewater and purify the water quality.

Site survey and excavation of foundation pit: Determine the location of the septic tank according to the design drawings, excavate the foundation pit with a diameter 30-50cm larger than the tank body, and meet the requirements of the local frozen soil layer. Soft soil requires pit wall support.

Foundation treatment: compact the soil at the bottom of the foundation pit, lay a 10-15cm thick sand and gravel cushion layer and compact it by vibration to ensure uniform bearing capacity of the foundation.

Glass reinforced plastic septic tank lifting: Use flexible lifting straps to smoothly lift the tank into the foundation pit, avoid collision, adjust the position of the septic tank, and align the inlet and outlet with the centerline of the external pipeline.

Horizontal calibration and pipeline connection: Use a level to check the levelness of the tank body, with an error of no more than 5mm; connect the inlet and outlet pipes, wrap waterproof tape around the interface and apply sealant to ensure no leakage.

Layered backfilling: symmetrically backfill plain soil from both sides of the fiberglass septic tank, with a thickness of no more than 30cm per layer and a compaction degree of no less than 90. Heavy machinery is prohibited from rolling within 50cm of the top of the tank.

Sealing test and labeling: Fill the tank with water to the height of the inlet and outlet, let it stand for 24 hours to observe the water level, and if there is no decrease, the sealing is qualified; Set up a sign above the cleaning port to record installation information.

Hand lay up process: Manually lay glass fiber cloth (or felt) layer by layer on the inner wall of the mold, while brushing the prepared resin to ensure a tight fit between the fiber cloth and the resin, without bubbles or hollows.

Wrapping process: Glass fiber yarn is wrapped around a mold at a preset angle using a robotic arm, and resin is sprayed synchronously to achieve automated molding, resulting in higher efficiency and more uniform thickness.
