Symmetrical fastening of fiberglass flange air valve: gradually tighten the nut using the "diagonal cross fastening method" to avoid flange deformation or uneven stress on the gasket caused by unilateral tightening first; The tightening force should be moderate, with the compression amount of the gasket being 1/3-1/2 of the original thickness (fiberglass flange material is brittle, excessive tightening can easily cause flange cracking, and the strength can be judged by observing the slight extrusion of sealant at the edge of the gasket);

Check the sealing of the fiberglass flange air valve: After tightening, gently push the air valve blades by hand to confirm that they rotate flexibly without any jamming; After closing the blades, soap water can be applied to the flange gap. If the system has been supplied with low-pressure air (≤ 500Pa), observe whether bubbles are generated. If there are no bubbles, the seal is qualified.
